Hikmet Alabıcak, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Alves Kablo, said after the earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş, where 10 provinces were devastated, “We convey our get well wishes to our nation due to the earthquake disaster that shook our country deeply, we wish God’s mercy to our deceased citizens and a speedy recovery to our wounded. In these difficult days, as Alves Kablo, we have been with our nation with all our strength since the first moment. We will heal our wounds together and overcome these days.” Alabıcak said, “The day is the day of unity. We are aware of our responsibility. We are ready to do whatever it takes. As Alves Kablo, we will be at the service of our nation today as always. We immediately took action for solidarity and delivered our aid trucks carrying food and necessities to the region. We are hosting approximately 80-100 earthquake victims at Kızılcahamam Park Thermal Hotel and Kızılcahamam Başak Thermal Hotel. With the cooperation of EMSİAD (Electrical Material Dealers and Business People Association), the umbrella organization of our sector, we will be with the people of the region with all kinds of assistance until life returns to its normal flow in our 10 provinces.” Stating that Turkey has shown an example of solidarity in terms of aid, Hikmet Alabıcak said, “We are talking about a disaster affecting millions of people. Our people in the region will need support for a long time. For this reason, aid to the earthquake region should be considered long-term and should continue until there is not a single person in need.”
